As a proud stay at home Mom of two young boys, I always knew I would love to find a way to combine my two passions--mother and entrepreneur. Many years ago, I successfully started and ran my own company, only leaving to focus on my new role, Mom. When my first son was very young, he constantly threw everything on the floor. Cups, bottles, pacifiers and toys were launched from his high chair, stroller and car seat. Frustrated, I bent down time after time searching for his latest launch. Then, I disinfected the item to prevent the contents of the bottoms of shoes from making it into my son's mouth! As I spoke to other Moms, I soon realized my child was not the only one participating in this “fun” game. Although that made me feel a tad better, it still did not solve the problem, so I began searching for a product that would be the solution. After an unsuccessful search, I imagined what might work to meet my needs and also the needs of other Moms experiencing the same problem. Soon after, the very first Dropper Stopper was designed! I wanted to be sure the product would be a hit before I went any further, so I conducted my own test markets and focus groups with local Moms. To say it was a hit is an understatement! Everyone who tried it LOVED it, and I knew I had to find a way to make it available to the masses. I am proud to say that my dream became a reality and now the Dropper Stopper™ Global is available to every Mom …at a GREAT price!! Who would have guessed that the trials and tribulations of motherhood would inspire me to become an inventor?
